Student brings B-B gun to elementary school.

HART — A student brought a B-B gun to Spitler Elementary School Friday, Dec. 13, and an investigation is being conducted.

No one was injured, according to school officials.

The following was posted on Spitler Elementary School’s Facebook page shortly before 5 p.m.:

“A MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT –

It was reported earlier today that a student had brought a B-B gun to school. According to district policy, the student was sent home and law enforcement was contacted and the investigation is ongoing. Hart Public Schools wants to assure the public that no one was ever in danger.”
