NEW ERA – The New Era Police Department continues its investigation of a theft at Veltman Hardware Store, Oct. 8, and is asking for the public’s help.
Police are seeking assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole a Firman generator valued at approximately $600 and a box of Midwest Fasteners-brand screws from the hardware store during business hours shortly after noon.
The suspect is pictured in the above surveillance video screenshot.
“We got some good leads, but they didn’t pan out,” said New Era Police Chief Roy Strait. “Hopefully someone takes another look at it, and we get this guy.”
