HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Bryan Lawrence Rhanor, 49, of 115 Washington St., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Nov. 18 to disorderly conduct – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for 42 days served.
– Timothy Alan Peach, 54, of 1459 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming, Michigan, was found guilty Nov. 18 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for six days served and a $75 fine.
– Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 26, of 3752 W. VanBuren Rd., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 18 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 48 days served; $14 restitution and a $75 fine. One count of trespassing was dismissed.
– Dorrell Antwon Thomas, 30, of 1346 E. Madison Rd., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 18 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for 15 days served and $450 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Devon William Behm, 32, of 1225 Fulton St., Grand Haven, was found guilty Nov. 18 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs. Court to leave restitution open for 45 days. One count of failure to stop at a property damage accident was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Derek Richard Prowant, 30, of 98 Rankin St., Shelby, was found guilty Nov. 18 of failure to report and accident and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $175 in fines and costs.
– Nicholas Lynn Kroll, 35, of 9312 S. Oceana Dr., Montague, was found guilty Nov. 18 of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for two days served and $475 in fines and costs.
– Kerri Ann Sittser, 43, of 1709 Chatterson, Muskegon, was found guilty Nov. 18 of second-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for six days served and a $75 fine.
– Danin Wayne Miller, 37, of 1938 Jiroch St., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 28 of controlled substance use and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for two days served; six months probation; vehicle used in offense immobilized/forfeited; and $1,025 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Josephine Rae Ramos, 29, of S. Country Lane, Fremont, was found guilty Nov. 18 of assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; no contact with the victim; six months probation; and $1,025 in fines and costs. A second count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Jeffrey Jay Suttner, 57, of 486 E. Sands St., Pentwater, was found guilty Nov. 12 of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and assault and battery and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for two days served for count 1; 93 days suspended jail with credit for two days served for count 2; must continue counseling; and $400 in fines and costs.
– Crystal Lee Hallack, 45, of 1831 N. 116th Ave., Hart,, was found guilty Nov. 25 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,090 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Dustin Duane Homfeld, 44, of 9569 E. Baker Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 25 of possession of firearms while under the influence and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs.
– Stephanie Michelle Hills, 35, of 387 N. Comstock, Hesperia, was found guilty Nov. 18 of embezzlement less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail; $50 restitution; and $460 in fines and costs.
