HART – The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:
– Jonathon Carl Schamber, 34, of 4590 Seymour Dr., New Era, was
found guilty Sept. 23 of credit card possession and was sentenced Nov. 18 to 10 months in jail with credit for 183 days served; two years probation; $700 in restitution; and $398 in fines and costs.
– Esteven Escamilla, 42, of 6676 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 23 of third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced Nov. 18 to six months in jail with credit for 34 days served; two years probation; court will consider work release after 90 days are served up front; must
comply with Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring (SCRAM) for 90 days after release from jail; and $998 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Brian Joseph Wierengo, 43, of 1010 W. Sternberg Rd., Norton Shores, was found guilty Sept. 23 of third-offense
OWI and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for two days served; two years probation; and $933 in fines and costs. “Defendant is to report to jail on Dec. 13, 2019 to commence sentence,” his court file states. “Commencing Nov. 18, defendant is to be placed on alcohol tether until he reports to jail.” Conviction reportable to SOS.
