Hart woman injured in US 31 crash.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP – A 23-year-old Hart woman was transported by Life EMS to Mercy Health Partners Hackley Campus in Muskegon following a single-vehicle rollover crash on northbound US 31 near Log Road Friday, Nov. 1, shortly after 8 a.m.

The crash occurred when the woman, who was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, attempted to pass another vehicle on the icy overpass, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.

“The passing lane on the bridge was icy when no other lanes were,” the report states. “The driver lost control and ran off the road to the right overturning several times.”

The driver was wearing a seat belt.
