HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Katlyn Marie Case, 27, of 308 N. Rowe St., Ludington, was found guilty Oct. 15 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,175 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Zane Carson Huckaba, 20, of 1698 E. 256th St., Arcadia, Indiana, was found guilty Oct. 15 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,105 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Antonio Rocha, Jr., 24, of 6969 N. 126th Ave., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Oct. 15 to domestic violence and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; six months probation; and $1,000 in fines and costs.

– Cameron Jacob Bell, 19, of 7167 Progress Rd., Twin Lake, pleaded “no contest” Oct. 15 to assault and battery and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,000 in fines and costs.

– Michael Brian Austin, 33, of 935 Coventry Dr., Walker, Michigan, was found guilty Oct. 15 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail; and $160 in fines, costs and restitution.

– Jeffrey Robert Chapman, 56, of 3846 140th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Oct. 15 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail; and $340 in fines and costs.

– Kalvin Coy Brooks, 23, of 1744 Ray St., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 14 of using an illegal fishing device and was sentenced to $430 in fines and costs and fishing license revocation for the two next years.

– Sue Ann Delano 40, of 7013 W. Roosevelt Rd., Montague, was found guilty Oct. 14 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs.

– Corey William Rogers, 52, of 526 Lankamp St. NW, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Oct. 14 of open intoxicants in an ORV and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs.

– Tristan James Hill, 21, of 7088 Meinert Park Rd., Montague, was found guilty Oct. 17 allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail; and $290 in fines and costs.

– Ronald Wayne Bazzett, Jr., 39, of 1650 Manistee Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 17 of operating an ORV in a closed area and was sentenced to $225 in fines and costs.

Dismissal

– Taurino Avilez-Perez, 44, of 316 Pine St., Shelby, one count of disorderly – drunk was dismissed Oct. 11.
