3 arrested for heroin at Rothbury rest area.

GRANT TOWNSHIP – Three suspects were arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies for heroin possession Friday, Oct. 25, at 4 a.m. at the rest area on northbound US 31 near Rothbury, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

Suspects are a 29-year-old Bear Lake woman, a 29-year-old Kaleva man and a 26-year-old Wellston man who also had an outstanding warrant.

Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019:

– 2:44 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 33-year-old Mears man was arrested for parole violation, and a 30-year-old Shelby woman was arrested on a fugitive warrant, East Loop Road, Ferry Township. The man is also a suspect in an assault investigation.

Friday, Oct. 25, 2019:

– 12:50 a.m., (OCSO), a 47-year-old New Era man was arrested on fugitive warrant, West Tahoe Trail, Grant Township.

– 3:21 a.m., (Michigan State Police), drug possession, 7000 block of Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury. A warrant is being requested.

– 1:15 p.m. (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Winston Road, Grant Township.

– 3:37 p.m. (OCSO), residential garage door vandalized, North 126th Avenue, Crystal Township.

– 7:50 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Webster Road and 40th Avenue, Claybanks Township.

– 8:32 p.m., (OCSO), gas drive-off, $20 in fuel stolen, Hesperia EZ Mart, Village of Hesperia.

– 9:11 p.m., (MSP), a 31-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Oceana Drive and Roosevelt Road, Grant Township.

– 11:50 p.m., (OCSO), failure to report a vehicle crash, warrant requested, North 144th Avenue, Elbridge Township.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019:

– 1 p.m., (MSP), a 24-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, US 31 and the south county line, Grant Township.

– 8:13 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Walkerville man was arrested on a warrant, and a 34-year-old Ludington was cited for no operator’s license, no insurance and no license plate, East Main Street, Village of Walkerville.

– 11:11 p.m., (MSP), a 48-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for open intoxicants, M 20 and Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.

Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019:

– 9:08 a.m., (OCSO), a 40-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for bond violation and disorderly conduct, South Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.

– 7:02 p.m,. (MSP), a 31-year-old Fruitport man was arrested for domestic violence, 2000 block of Skeels Road, Otto Township.

– 10:52 p.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for DWLS, Harrison Road, Leavitt Township.

Monday, Oct, 28, 2019:

– 11:15 a.m., (OCSO), unauthorized use of a financial transaction device, $561 was allegedly stolen by using a debit card, 500 block of South Maple Island Road, Newfield Township.
