HART – Oceana Leads is hosting a medication take-back event Friday, Oct. 11, in partnership with the Oceana County Council on Aging.

You can bring in unused or expired medication to safely throw away. The best part – you don’t even have to leave your vehicle. You can drive up to the OCCOA at 621 E. Main St. and hand over your medicine from your car.

The first shift is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the second shift will be from 4-6 p.m. Medication lock boxes are available for anyone who still has medicine in the home and needs to safely lock it up – free of charge.
