HART – A 20-year-old Shelby man faces up to 20 years in prison for a felony charge of delivery/manufacture of a narcotic/cocaine 50-449 grams.

Steve Olvera, of 98 Sessions Rd., faces the felony charge stemming from an arrest by the State, Sheriffs’ Chiefs Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT), according to his court file.

Olvera appeared in 27th Circuit Court Monday, Oct. 7, with his attorney, Timothy Hayes. A two-day trial is scheduled for Jan 8 and 9.

A final conference in the case is set for Dec. 2, which is the deadline for the court to accept any plea offers, said Judge Robert D. Springstead.
