78th District Court sentencings, dismissals – Oct. 2, 2019.

HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Norman Leo Schultz, Jr., 61, of 316 S. Division St., Whitehall, was found guilty Aug. 12 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served; six months probation; and $1,815 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One felony count of third offense OWI was dismissed.

– Colin Ray Bush, 35, of 2725 Forrest St., Rothbury, was found guilty Sept. 16 of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for two days served and $500 in fines and costs.

– Shelby Williams Evans, 22, of 410 Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 16 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,105 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Martin Carl Schultz, 51, of 7838 W. Timberbrook Trial, Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 16 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to 180 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. Once count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Tiffany Lea Tollenaar, 29, of 1474 Yarmouth Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Sept. 16 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs.

– Travis Arden Clements, 37, of 5622 S. Water Rd., New Era, was found guilty Sept. 16 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Michael Eaton Neeves, 60, of 92270 Ludlow St., Northville, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 17 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Dina Marie Kerbuski, 60, of 2923 W. Tahoe Trail, New Era, was found guilty Sept. 17 of open intoxicants and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs. One count of disturbing the peace was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Dylan Wyatt King, 24, of 312 Walnut St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 19 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Douglas Wayne Estepp, Jr., 42, of 315 Lincoln St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 20 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Berni Perez Lopez, 26, of 5319 Figure Eight Rd., Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was found guilty Sept. 20 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– David Leroy Dora, 55, of 4993 W. Log Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 19 of causing/allowing a vehicle to be operated exceeding size/weight limitations and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– Mark Alan Bouwman , 57, of 5095 County Lane, Middleville, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 19 of unlawful license plate and was sentenced to $225 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license not valid was dismissed.

– Anthony Michael Guerra-Aldrich, 29, of 5172 Spinning Wheel Dr., Grand Blanc, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 19 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs.

– James Brian Tatro, Jr., 25, of 5315 S. 148th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 19 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $290 in fines and costs.

– Daniel Junior Smith, 55, of 1804 E. Fish Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 19 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs.

– Steven Jay Thies, 35, of 4828 E. Madison Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty May 20 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced Sept. 16 to 90 days suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs.

– John Alden Cammenga, 86, of 2500 Breton Woods Dr., SE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Sept. 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs.

– John Andrew Cammenga, 57, of 3940 Skeels Rd., Holton, was found guilty Sept. 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs. Charges of open intoxicants and uncased firearm in a vehicle were dismissed.

– Susan Elizabeth Cammenga, 54, of 3940 Skeels Rd., Holton, was found guilty Sept. 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs.

– Miguel Mata-Garcia, 20, of 3772 N. 48th Ave., Mears, was found guilty Sept. 11 of operating without a license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Miriam Baxcajay Vargas, 19, of 2 W. Main St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 11 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Walker Longarder-Allehouse, 21, of 678 Lester Rd., Coldwater, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 12 of driving an unregistered vehicle/no trailer plate and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Marvin Lee Ennis, 33, of 7455 W. VanBuren Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 17 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and
$300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Clinton Bond, no address or date of birth listed, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed Sept. 13. “Defendant was extradited to Florida,” according to court records. “It is not in the interest of justice to go forward with this matter.”

– James Thomas Fischer, no address or date of birth listed, charges of operating while intoxicated and preliminary breath test refusal were dismissed Sept. 13. “Defendant’s blood results came back below the legal limit.”

– Bradley J. Kraker, no address or date of birth listed, a charge of no boater’s safety was dismissed Sept. 17. “The defendant took boater’s safety after receiving ticket. It is not in the interest of justice to go forward with this matter.”

– Jay Jay Lomupo, 34, of 551 Houston Ave., Muskegon, one count of alcohol – consuming on highway was dismissed Sept. 17. “Defendant complied with plea agreement.”

– Richard Vernon Erickson, 61, of 3053 Duff Rd., Twin Lake, one count of allowing a suspended person to operate was dismissed Sept. 20.

– Eloisa Rodriguez, no address or date of birth listed, one count of no license was dismissed Sept. 20. “Defendant got a valid license before the pretrial. It is not in the interest of justice to go forward with this matter.”

– Nickole Forde, no address or date of birth listed, one count of ORV on public roadway was dismissed Sept. 20.

– Michael Forde, no address or date of birth listed, one count of ORV on public roadway was dismissed Sept. 20.

– Joshua Howey, no address or date of birth listed, one count of ORV on public roadway was dismissed Sept. 20.

– Hannah Wright, no address or date of birth listed, one count of expired license was dismissed Sept. 20. “Defendant now has a valid driver’s license.”
