GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP – The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office investigated an arson/malicious destruction of property on South 184th Avenue near Cleveland Road Saturday, Sept. 14, shortly after 10:30 p.m. when four dumpsters were set on fire, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The dumpsters shot out 10-foot flames, and the Hesperia Fire Department responded to extinguish the fires.

No one has been arrested in connection to the incident.

Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019:

• 1:44 a.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for domestic violence, East Harison Road, Leavitt Township.
• 3:40 a.m., (MSP), assault, 5000 block of Harrison Road, Village of Walkerville.
• 8 a.m., (MSP), a 24-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, 8000 block of South Robinhood Drive, Grant Township.
• 8:06 a.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for failure to appear, South Robinhood Drive, Grant Township.
• 9:20 a.m,. (OCSO), a 24-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for methamphetamine possession, East Lincoln Street, City of Hart.
• 12:10 p.m., (MSP), a 25-year-old Muskegon man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, US 31 and Oceana Drive, Weare Township.
• 3:38 p.m., (OCSO), a 24-year-old Rothbury woman was arrested for driving while license suspended, South Water Road, Grant Township.
• 4:30 p.m., (MSP), assault, 4000 block of 120th Avenue, Hart Township.
• 5:33 p.m., (OCSO), a 44-year-old Otsego, Michigan man was arrested for DWLS and improper plate, northbound US 31, Weare Township.
• 8 p.m., (MSP), PPO violation, 1000 block of West Arthur Road, Grant Township.

Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019:

• 3:10 a.m., (OCSO), a 48-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for operating without a license, East Pierce Road, Ferry Township.
