Oceana under severe thunderstorm warning.
OCEANA COUNTY – The US National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Oceana County until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11.
A 5:41 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of Silver Lake State Park and is moving east at 50 mph, according to NWS.
“For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.”
Oceana is also included in a widespread area in Michigan that is under a thunderstorm watch until 11 p.m.
