The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019:

– 12:25 p.m., (Michigan State Police), domestic assault, under investigation, 7000 block of East Adams Road, Colfax Township.

– 1:14 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assault and battery, South 88th Avenue, Grant Township.

– 8:20 p.m., (MSP), a 50-year-old Frankfort man was arrested for cocaine possession, US 31 and Polk Road, Hart Township.

Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019:

– 9:58 a.m., (MSP), malicious destruction of property – shattered car window, 5000 block of West Sixth Street, Golden Township.

– 11 a.m., (MSP), breaking and entering, no forced entry, food items were stolen, Double JJ Resort, 5000 block of Water Road, Village of Rothbury.

– 11:09 a.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, East Adams Road, Colfax Township.

– 4:42 p.m., (MSP), ORV crash, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township. A person suffered head and neck injuries and was transported by Life EMS to an area hospital.

Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019:

– 6 p.m., (MSP), identity theft, 7000 block of 101st Avenue, Grant Township.

– 7:16 p.m., (MSP), breaking and entering, 3000 block of Winston Road, Grant Township.

– 10:13 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and mile marker 140, Grant Township.
