The Scottville Clown Band is a big attraction during Saturday’s Grand Parade, which begins at 4 p.m.

Pentwater Homecoming this weekend.

PENTWATER – Homecoming – the biggest annual event in Pentwater – is set for this weekend, Aug. 8-11.

Locals and visitors love to come “home” for Homecoming, and there are many activities on tap for everyone’s enjoyment.

This year marks the 89th year of the popular summer celebration.

Some highlights are the strawberry shortcake social, a combined concert with Pentwater Civic Band and Scottville Clown Band, a golf scramble, the sand sculpture contest, a horseshoe tournament, a Big Ten preseason tailgate party, the grand parade, fireworks, a pancake breakfast, movies on the green and more.
