PBS ‘Addiction’ documentary to be shown Aug. 13.
HART — Oceana Leads will host a film screening of the PBS Documentary, “Addiction”, followed by a panel presentation with local experts in addiction and recovery on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hart Middle School Auditorium.
According to a national survey on drug use and health, 19.7 million Americans aged 12 and older battled a substance abuse disorder in 2017. Nationally, opioid related overdoses continue to rise.
