Man arrested for drug possession after fleeing from police.

ROTHBURY – A 19-year-old Shelby man was captured by a patrol sergeant from the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office after fleeing on foot during a traffic stop on Bartlett Street by the Rothbury Police Department Sunday, Aug. 4, around 8:30 p.m., said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The man, who was in possession of what is believed to be LSD, was arrested on felony charges of resisting/opposing arrest and possession of dangerous drugs, Mast said.
