Rothbury man faces felony charge for assault with knife.

HART – A 30-year-old Rothbury man who allegedly held his male roommate in a room for several hours while threatening his life with a knife, July 22, has been arraigned in 78th District Court on a felony charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
Felipe Gonzales, AKA Ever Garcia, of 6126 S. 90th Ave., was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies and lodged in the Oceana County Jail on a $10,000/cash/surety/10 percent bond. A preliminary exam is set for Aug. 12 at 3 p.m.
The victim sustained minor injuries consistent with getting punched in the face, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
Alcohol was involved, Mast said.
