HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Nathan Phillip Ashburn, 24, of 7321 White Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty July 16 of operating while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 35 days served; outpatient treatment; and $315 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Tyler Cameron Page, 22, of 39 116th St., Wyandote, Michigan, was found guilty July 16 of operating an ORV with a suspended license and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs.

– Robert Wayne Bowker, 45, of 5553 Leora Lane, Jackson, Michigan, was found guilty July 12 of failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $335 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Adonis Tyree Brown, 24, of 398 E. White Lake Dr., Whitehall, was found guilty July 11 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.

– Austin Michael-Lyn Preston, 20, of 6221 E. Apple Ave., Musekgon, was found guilty July 10 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Ernest James Vilminot, 51, of 123 Union St., Concord, Michigan, was found guilty July 10 of operating an ORV on a highway/right-of-way and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs.

– Marshall Edward Klages, 28, of 4976 N. Maple Island Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty July 10 driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Michael William-Dale Steffes, 30, of 7308 160th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty July 16 of disorderly conduct – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $400 in fines and costs.

– James David Brant, 61, of 5302 S. 184th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty July 16 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for four days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $1,090 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Alfredo Gonzalez Escamilla, 31, of 77 W. Deer Rd., Mears, was found guilty July 16 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and sentenced to nine days in jail (three weekends); six months probation; one year suspended jail; outpatient treatment; and $1,800 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated, driving while license suspended (DWLS), and marine safety – failure to stop for an officer/give false ID were dismissed.

– Barbara Ann Farber, 41, of 4905 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty July 23 of operating without a license and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Jessica Guadalupe Parra-Fraga, 33, of 6334 S. 90th Ave., New Era, was found guilty July 23 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

– Jen Victoria Rodriguez, 24, of 115 E. 4th St., Shelby, was found guilty July 22 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and $300 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Charles John Miller, Jr., 26, of 5829 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty July 22 of domestic violence and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for 93 days served. “Fines and costs waived,” her court file states. “Defendant is an inmate in the Detroit Re-Entry Facillty.” One count of second-offense domestic violence was dismissed.

– Drake David Hannah, 17, of 2532 Beech St., Twin Lake, was found guilty July 15 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for four days served and $290 in fines and costs. “Must contact the prosecuting attorney in 90 days to request a dismissal,” his court file states. One count of improper license was dismissed.

– Alexandra Ann Greiner, 31, of 1370 W. Monroe Rd., Hart, was found guilty July 22 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $325 in fines and costs. Charges of failure to report an accident and operating without insurance were dismissed.

– Adam Blake Riddell, 28, of 103 E. Wood St., Hart, was found guilty July 22 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail and $475 in fines and costs. Charges of resisting/assaulting/obstructing police and no trailer plate were dismissed.

Dismissals

– Daniel Dustin Fox, 25, of 4051 Central Ave., North Muskegon, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed July 22. The lab result was .07 BAC, his court file states.

– Lydia Mendez, 63, of 211 Dryden St., Hart, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed July 18.

– Dawneen Suzanne Worth, 55, of 5830 W. 6th St., Mears, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed July 18.

– Dylan Thomas Graber, 23, of 561 Holton Whitehall Rd., Whitehall, one count of attempting to take an animal without a license on person was dismissed July 16.
