Man allegedly holds roommate at knifepoint for several hours.

GRANT TOWNSHIP – A 30-year-old Rothbury man was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies for felonious assault and false imprisonment Sunday, July 22, shortly after 3 p.m. on South 90th Avenue.

The suspect allegedly held his male roommate in a room for several hours while threatening his life with a knife, said Oceana County sheriff Craig Mast.

The victim sustained minor injuries consistent with getting punched in the face.

Alcohol was involved, said Mast.
