HART – The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:
Armando Gregorio Gutierrez, Jr., 30, of 2880 Polk Rd., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced July 8 to one year in jail with credit for 163 days served and $540 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from a June 20, 2016 conviction of larceny in a building, is revoked. In a separate file, Gutierrez was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced July 8 to one year in jail with credit for 283 days served and $470 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from a Sept. 25, 2017 conviction of sex offender – failure to comply with reporting duties, is revoked. Terms run consecutively.
Ryan Jo Hudson, 27, of 1158 Brian Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty May 6 of third-offense operating while intoxicated and was
sentenced July 8 to 10 months in jail with credit for 39 days served; two years probation; and $490 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). Charges of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and malicious destruction of property less than $200 were dismissed. “Defendant’s request to serve one year and one day in prison is denied,” court records state.
Norman Lee Winskas, 33, of 1666 Bush Rd., Muskegon, was found
guilty May 13 of methamphetamine possession and was sentenced July 8 to five months in jail with credit for 64 days served; two years probation; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 60 days; and $490 in fines and costs. One count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine was dismissed.
Shayne Chris Smith, 31, of 7792 E. Gale Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced July 12 to 120 days in jail with
credit for 95 days served; 18 months probation; and $458 in fines and costs. The court allowed work release. “Defendant shall report to jail Fridays at 6 p.m. and shall be released on Sundays at 6 p.m.,” his court file states. “Defendant shall submit to SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) while he is out on work release.”
