HART – The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:

Felonies

Daryl De-La-Paz

– Daryl De-La-Paz, 45, of 7792 N. 186th Ave., Walkerville, was arrested by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and a misdemeanor of fourth-degree child abuse. Preliminary exam: July 1 at 3 p.m. Bail: $30,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Patrick Fay George, 30, of 64 Michigan Ave., Shelby, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of methamphetamine possession. Preliminary exam: June 24 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Alfredo Gonzalez Escamilla, 31, of 77 Deer Rd., Mears; OCSO; operating while intoxicated (OWI); driving while license suspended (DWLS); and marine safety – failure to stop for officer/false ID. Pretrial: June 27 at 9 a.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– David Gerald Cernik, 64, of 19562 Downshire Dr., Brownstown, Michigan; Hart Police Department (HPD); OWI. Pretrial: July 18 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
