New Asparagus Queen Crowned.

SHELBY – Congratulations to 2019 Asparagus Queen Alysha Sullivan, pictured right, and First Runner-Up Lori Beggs.

They were crowned during the Asparagus Queen Pageant at Shelby High School Saturday evening, June 1.

The National Asparagus Festival is set for next weekend, June 7-9, in Hart. The Joan Glover Grand Royale Parade is Saturday, June 8, at 2 p.m.
