BENONA TOWNSHIP – The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a breaking and entering that recently occurred at the Fieldcrest Self Storage facility located in the 1900 block of South 64th Avenue, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The break-in, which was reported Friday May 24, resulted in the theft of a red push lawn mower valued at $250 and an electronic dart board valued at $50. The padlock was removed in order to gain access.

Friday, May 24, 2018:

– 11 a.m., a 26-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and driving without insurance, 192nd Avenue and M 20, Newfield Township.

Saturday, May 25, 2019:

– Midnight, a 31-year-old Mears man was arrested for attempted fleeing and eluding police, operating while intoxicated (OWI) and DWLS, West Deer Road, Golden Township.

– 3:35 a.m., disturbing the peace, West Silver Lake Road, Golden Township.

– 7:57 p.m., deputies transported a 20-year-old Byron Center man to the Oceana County Jail for DWLS and on an outstanding warrant following a Department of Natural Resources (DNR) arrest, West Silver Lake Road, Golden Township.

– 11:20 p.m., a 40-year-old Walkerville man and a 17-year-old man (hometown unavailable) were both arrested for an assault involving a knife, North 186th Avenue, Colfax Township.

– 11:20 a.m., a 30-year-of Pentwater man was arrested for driving while license revoked, West Shelby Road, Shelby Township.

– 8:14 p.m., a 35-year-old Montague woman was arrested for operating while under the influence of drugs, South 68th Avenue, Grant Township.

– 11:58 p.m., a 46-year-old Eagle, Michigan woman was arrested for operating while under the influence of drugs and a 36-year-old Lansing man was arrested for crack possession, Business Route 31, Pentwater Township.

Wednesday, May 29, 2019:

– 7:43 p.m., a 42-year-old Ann Arbor man was arrested on three outstanding warrants and charges of DWLS and operating without insurance, North 56th Avenue and Fox Road, Golden Township.
