Obituary: Richard David Rennhack, 36, of Muskegon, formerly of Hart.
Richard David Rennhack, 36, of Muskegon, formerly of Hart, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Mercy Health – Hackley Campus in Muskegon, following a stroke. Richard was born November 19, 1982, in Charleston, West Virginia. At the age of 12, he and his sisters, Zekara and Santana, were adopted by David and Joann (Piegols) Rennhack.
Richard graduated Shelby High School class of 2002. He moved to Muskegon and became known as the local fix-it man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the woods
Richard is survived by his parents, David and Joann Rennhack; sisters, Zekara (Jeremiah) Palmer, and Santana Rennhack; brother, Jerry Akers of West Virginia; grandmother, Martha Ann Piegols; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Shelby Road Baptist Church, 4066 West Shelby Road, Shelby, MI 49455, with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to: Mel Trotter Ministries, Oceana Christian School (OCS), or SRBC Youth Group.
