HART – The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:
Felonies
Darlin
Danny Ray Darling, 54, of 602 State St., Hart, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of failure to register as a sex offender. Preliminary exam: May 28 at 3 p.m. Bail: $10,000/cash/surety. Darling also is charged with third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: May 20 at 3 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
Wierengo
Brian John Wierengo, 43, of 1010 W. Sternberg Rd., Norton Shores, was arrested by Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI). Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
Houseman
Jill Whitney Houseman, 23, of 916 W. Garfield Rd., Rothbury, was arrested by OCSO for a felony of third-degree child abuse. Preliminary exam: May 28 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
Mitchell Aaron Robinson, 39, of 2725 E. Forrest St., Rothbury; MSP; improper license, operating without insurance and improper plates. Pretrial: May 23 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.
Robbie Jay Rice, 46, of 7140 S. Westshore Dr., Rothbury; OCSO; harboring misdemeanants. Pretrial: June 6 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
Ricardo Martinez Lazo, Sr., 49, of 631 Lever Rd., Hart; OCSO; truancy. Pretrial: June 20 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.
Jose Manual Rodriguez, 44, of 7154 N. 120th Ave., Hart; OCSO; truancy. Pretrial: May 30 at 2 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.
Santa Monica Ramos, 34, of 1593 E. Hammett Rd., Hart; OCSO; truancy. Pretrial: June 6 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.
Jaime Perez-Valencia, 54, of 4132 E. Polk Rd., Hart; OCSO; truancy. Pretrial: May 30 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.
Joseph Michael White, 29, of 2409 Beech St., Twin Lake; Hart Police Department (HPD); second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: June 6 at 10 a.m. Bail: $1,500/10 percent.
Richard Allen Merten, 60, of 4973 N. Oceana Dr., Hart; HPD; dog running at large. Pretrial: May 30 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.

William Craig Buchanan, 57, of 7736 W. Fox Rd., Mears; OCSO; operating without insurance. Pretrial: June 6 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
Justin Ruben Jobbins, 33, of 554 N. Morris Rd., Pentwater; OCSO; operating without insurance. Pretrial: June 6 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal. Jobbins faces another count of operating without security stemming from an MSP citation.
Jenna Victoria Rodriguez, 24, of 115 E. 4th St., Shelby; SPD; operating without insurance. Pretrial: May 30 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal.
Robert Joseph Jeffries, 64, of 457 E. Third St., Pentwater; Department of Environmental Quality; establishing a solid waste disposal area without a permit. operating without insurance. Pretrial: May 30 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/10 percent.
