SUV flips over on icy road.
COLFAX TOWNSHIP – A 43-year-old Walkerville woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on North 176th Avenue near Minke Road near Walkerville Wednesday, Feb. 20, shortly after 4:30 p.m.
The woman, who was driving a 2004 GMC Envoy, “advised she was traveling south on North 176th Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle on the ice-covered road,” states the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office report. “The vehicle ran off the roadway to the right and overturned.”
The woman, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated by Life EMS. The accident report did not indicate if she was transported to a hospital.
Walkerville Area Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.
