Drunk driving arrests top police activity.

The following is recent police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:
Friday, Feb. 1, 2019:
– 6:30 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 55-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI), 60th Avenue and Hammett Road, Pentwater Township.
Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019:
– 3:05 a.m., (MSP), a 61-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for OWI, 184th Avenue and Garfield Road, Greenwood Township
– 3:42 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Harrison Road and 200th Avenue, Leavitt Township.
– 12:15 p.m., (MSP), dog bite, 600 block of East Filmore Road, Leavitt Township.
– 5 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, Garfield Road and 132nd Avenue, Ferry Township.
Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019:
– 7:36 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), assault and battery, South 184th Avenue, Newfield Township.
– 11:50 p.m., (OCSO), a 50-year-old Shelby man was arrested for cocaine possession, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
