78th District Court sentencings.

HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Jose Salvador Arias, 45, of 8713 W. 13 Mile Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Dec. 12 of driving while license not valid and unlawful license plate and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $225 in fines and costs.
– Donald Thompson, 58, of 5789 S. 104th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty Dec. 13 of uncased firearm in vehicle and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $355 in fines and costs.
– Timothy Jay Reterstoff, 49, of 1113 N. 168th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Dec. 11 of driving an unregistered vehicle/no trailer plate and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs.
– Erick Abit Valenzuela-Flores, 32, of 6334 S. 90th Ave., New Era, was found guilty Dec. 11 of failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $215 in fines and costs.
– Brianna Mae Hesselink, 20, of 7486 E. M 20, Hesperia, was found guilty Dec. 12 of failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs.
– Patrick Michael Wolever, 45, of 1464 N. 100th Ave., Hart, was found guilty of dog running at large and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $155 in fines and costs.
– Nathaniel Ralph Frees, 27, of 2072 Loop Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Dec. 12 of DWLS and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs.
– Johnathon Loren Wishman, 31, of 9485 Chase Rd., Montague, was found guilty Dec. 17 of a misdemeanor of unlawful driving away of an automobile and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs.
– Darwin Nehemias Pu-Ramirez, 21, of 373 Maple St., Shelby, was found guilty Dec. 17 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days in jail; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); and $350 in fines and costs.
– Timothy Lee Veltman, 34, of 5650 Oceana Dr., New Era, was found guilty Dec. 17 of second-offense OWI and was sentenced to six months probation; must submit to counseling, testing and searches by probation; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $1,780 in fines and costs.
– Aaron Vaughn Jacobs, 33, of 7044 N. 92nd Ave., Hart, was found guilty Nov. 26 of larceny $200-$1,000 and was sentenced Dec. 18 to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $950 in fines, costs and restitution.
– Jonathon Patrick Freiberg, 23, of 122 Richards NW, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Dec. 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $305 in fines and costs.
– Gena Lynn Garza, 42, of 417 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty Dec. 11 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs.
– Amanda Rae McMann, 35, of 3560 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Dec. 17 of attempted assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail for one year and $400 in fines and costs.
