Get in the spirit with Shelby band, choir Christmas concerts.

SHELBY – The Shelby Performing Arts Department is excited for the holiday season which includes a variety of performances by the middle school and high school bands and choirs.
The big dates include:
– The annual Shelby Middle School Christmas Concert Thursday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium with refreshments served afterwards by the Shelby Chamber of Commerce.
– The annual Shelby High School Community Christmas Concert Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium with refreshments served afterwards.
The band also has a small group of volunteer instrumentalists who form the Shelby Christmas Ensemble. Performances include:
– Lake Shore Medical Center for the Lights of Love, Thursday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m.;
– Shelby Public Library for the Celebration of Trees, Sunday, Dec. 9, at 12:30 p.m.;
– Oceana County Council on Aging, Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m.
The Shelby Jazz Band will be at the Lakes Mall again this year for Christmas Saturday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m. in the food court.
