No one injured in chain reaction US 31 crashes.

GRANT TOWNSHIP – Four separate vehicle crashes occurred at the same time and place Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8:40 a.m. on US 31 near Winston Road, said Michigan State Police Sgt. Charles Hockanson.
No one was injured, and all of the crashes were one-vehicle crashes, Hockanson said. Two of the vehicles rolled over, he said.
The chain reaction crashes occurred as motorists apparently were trying to avoid the vehicle that previously crashed, he said.

Friday, Nov. 30, 2018:
– 7:51 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 45-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for no operator’s license and no insurance, East Jackson Road, Colfax Township.
Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018:
– 3:38 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of round hay bales valued at $75, North 120th Avenue, Crystal Township.
– 5:35 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
– 8 p.m., (OCSO), a 43-year-old Shelby man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), East Loop Road, Newfield Township.
Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018:
– 2:29 a.m., (OCSO), a 23-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for methamphetamine possession and on an outstanding warrant for larceny, East Hawley Road, Newfield Township.
– 9:55 p.m., (MSP), a 20-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for driving while licensed suspended, Oceana Drive and Roosevelt Road, Grant Township.
– 10:59 p.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for OWI, North 192nd Avenue, Colfax Township.
