Man arrested for meth under investigation for stealing vehicle.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP – A 36-year-old Chouteau, Oklahoma man, who was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies for methamphetamine possession Friday, Nov. 23, at 9:55 p.m. on North Parasail Drive, is also suspected of car theft, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.
Deputies ran the vehicle inspection number (VIN) of the vehicle that suspect was in possession of and found it to be a stolen vehicle in Oklahoma. Authorities in Oklahoma requested that the sheriff’s office impound it, and the vehicle is being held pending an investigation.

– 10:02 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of a hunting blind. North 88th Avenue, Weare Township.
– 1:10 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, 16th Avenue and Buchanan Road, Benona Township.
– 1:24 p.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, North 116th Avenue, Elbridge Township. A 13-year-old juvenile boy is the alleged perpetrator.
– 5:33 p.m., (OCSO), domestic assault, case being turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office, 4800 block of West Fox Road, Golden Township.
– 6 p.m., (OCSO), a 41-year-old Rothbury man is suspected of sex offender registration violation, South Applehill Drive, Grant Township.

– 12:30 p.m., (MSP), breaking and entering, 2000 block of Garfield Road, Ferry Township.
– 2 p.m., (MSP), illegal entry and a child custody dispute, 300 block of West Hawley Street, Village of Hesperia.
– 5:10 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a trailer hitch valued at $175, West McKinley Road, Village of Rothbury.
– 10:35 p.m., (MSP), a 35-year-old Montague woman was arrested for DWLS, Michigan Avenue and Winston Road, Village of Rothbury.
Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018:
– 12:45 a.m., (MSP), a 27-year-old Allendale man was arrested for DWLS, M 20 and 124th Avenue, Ferry Township.
– 1:40 a.m., (MSP), a 34-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for driving without insurance, 88th Avenue and Winston Road, Grant Township.
– 10:15 a.m., (MSP), a 19-year-old man (hometown unavailable) was arrested for marijuana possession, US 31 and Shelby Road, Shelby Township.
– 11:06 a.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, South 90th Avenue, Grant Township.
