Obituary: Harrison Baldwin, 84, Pentwater.

Harrison Taylor Baldwin, 84, of Pentwater, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Harrison was born on February 17, 1934 in Huttig, Texas, the son of Ryland and Annie (Taylor) Baldwin.  He graduated from Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas. Harrison served in the United States Marine Corps for nine years; honorably discharged in 1962.  In 1959, he was wed to Dalynn Pehrson and helped raise his two sons. He retired from Dow Chemical in 1993, after 30 years of dedicated service.

Harrison had horses for many years, enjoyed gardening, and as Mr. Fix-it, he was always working on something!  Harrison was an excellent father and had a great sense of humor.

Harrison is survived by his son, Alan (Amy) Baldwin; grandchildren, Alex Baldwin, Nichole (fiancé Kevin Creason) Baldwin, and Amanda Lijewski; and great grandchildren, Tori Gancarz and Sophia Lijewski.  

Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, Ryland and Annie Baldwin; wife, Dalynn Baldwin; son Steven Baldwin; and brother, Ryland Baldwin.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.
