WALKERVILLE – Enjoy family fun and music during the annual Walkerville Wesleyan Church Fall Festival Saturday, Nov. 10, from 3-8 p.m.
Activities are planned for all ages, and all proceeds benefit the church’s parking lot fund.
Compete in the cake walk, chili contest or free throw contest. “You be the judge” and taste all the chili entries for $3. Cake walk tickets are $1, and the free throw tickets are $5 per attempt.
Look for great deals in the silent auction, which runs from 3-5:15 p.m.
There will be free and ticketed carnival activities for the kids, such as the duck pond, bean bag toss, cake walk, football toss, donut eating, pig pen, sucker tree, bucket bonanza, story time and more. Tickets for the carnival are 25 cents each or five tickets for $1.
There will be food available to buy, such as hot dogs, brats, chips, pop, coffee and candy bars.
Dress in fall colors and take advantage of a fall festival photo opportunity in the gym. Take your pictures for free, or pay $5 for two 5x7s printed at the event.
Ethan Flanery, a Tae Kwon Do and Oh Do Kwan third-degree black belt, will give self defense training in three 15-minute sets starting at 4 p.m. in the gym. Ethan leads a Tae Kwon Do and Oh Do Kwan classes Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. at the Elbridge Township gym.
A talent show with community singers and groups performing for donations starts at 6 p.m.
