LUDINGTON — West Michigan Community Mental Health will be hosting a community shred day on Friday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place in Mason, Oceana, and Lake counties.

The event, which is open to all members of the community, and is an opportunity to bring old and unwanted paper documents to be shredded free of charge. Documents will be confidentially and securely destroyed.  Once destroyed, shred will be used by local farmers as animal bedding. People are asked to limit the volume of the documents they would like shredded to four containers of their choice.
