OCEANA COUNTY – The Hart post of the Michigan State Police investigated two trail cam thefts over the last two days. The first theft was reported Monday, Oct. 8, at 4 p.m. in the 2000 block of 152nd Avenue in Ferry Township, and the second trail cam was reported stolen Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 8:22 a.m. on McKinley Road near Carlton Road in Grant Township, according to Sgt. Charles Hockanson.

The following is other recent police activity in Oceana County:

Monday, Oct. 8, 2018:

– 12:30 p.m., (MSP), larceny of a cell phone, 7000 block of Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.

– 6 p.m., (MSP), larceny of approximately $75 cash, 1000 block of Wilson Road, Golden Township.

– 6:55 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), operating while intoxicated (OWI) and vehicle crash, South 192nd Avenue, Leavitt Township.

Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018:

– 11 a.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash involving minor injuries, US 31 and Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.

– 2:09 p.m,. (OCSO), larceny from a yard, South Eastline Drive, Grant Township.
