Woman attempts to kick out police car windows.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP – A 20-year-old Niles, Michigan woman arrested by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning, Oct. 2, became violent, attempting to kick out the patrol car windows en route to the Oceana County Jail, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The woman, arrested for a misdemeanor of domestic violence on South Water Road shortly before 10 a.m., now also faces a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police.

– 11:45 p.m., (Michigan State Police), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, 144th Avenue near Minke Road, Crystal Township.

Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018:

– 7:35 a.m., (OCSO), stalking complaint reported to the sheriff’s office. A 68-year-old Marshall, Michigan man is a suspect.

– 10:35 a.m., (MSP), breaking and entering, 7000 block of Johnson Road, Benona Township.

– 9:07 p.m., (OCSO), illegal entry, 500 block of North 200th Avenue, Newfield Township.
