Strangulation tops 78th District Court arraignments.

HART – The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:
Felonies
– Nicholas Lee Mullins, 39, of 9141 S. 184th Ave., Holton, was arrested by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for two felony counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder/strangulation and third-offense habitual offender. Preliminary conference: Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000. (Mugshot unavailable.)
– John Mark Tufts, 49, of 6910 Holton Duck Lake Rd., Holton, was arrested by OCSO for a felony of third-offense operating while
Tufts
intoxicated (OWI). Preliminary conference: Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. Bail: $7,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Jacob Mark Eppard, 19, of 550 Western St., Muskegon; State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT); LSD possession. Pretrial: Oct. 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500/cash/surety/10 percent.
– Nathan Thomas Leo, 24, of 1344 Maplerow NW, Grand Rapids; OCSO; operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent.
– Amanda Raye Tovar, 37, of 511 S. Mears Ave., Whitehall; Michigan State Police (MSP); driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Oct. 2 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: personal recognizance.
