The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:
Friday, Sept. 21, 2018:
– 12:55 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 21-year-old Scottville man was arrested for marijuana possession and operating under the influence of drugs (OUID), Oceana Drive near Main Street, City of Hart. The passenger, a 20-year-old Hart man, was arrested on a warrant.
– 8 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 south of Hammett Road, Pentwater Township.
– 9:01 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 34-year-old Walkerville man was arrested on a warrant and for probation violation, S. 192nd Ave., Newfield Township.
Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018:
– 1:29 p.m., (MSP), expired license, Stony Lake Road near US 31, Grant Township.
– 7:25 p.m., (OCSO), a 40-year-old Twin Lake man was cited for open intoxicants, N. 204th Ave., Leavitt Township.
– 11:19 p.m., (OCSO), a 34-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for marijuana possession and no operator’s license, S. 180th Ave., Greenwood Township.
– 11:35 p.m., (OCSO), a 36-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested for parole violation and on a warrant, S. 168th Ave., Greenwood Township.
Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018:
– 10 a.m., (MSP), a 41-year-old Mears man was arrested for violating a condition of his bond, Deer Road, Golden Township.
– 4:55 p.m., (OCSO), a 20-year-old Clarksville man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS), N. 56th Ave., Golden Township.
– 5:30 p.m., (MSP), vehicle crash, no injuries, M20 near 192nd Ave., Newfield Township.
– 6:40 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a purse from a vehicle, North Wilson Road, Golden Township.
– 8:22 p.m., (OCSO), a 34-year-old Mears man was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, Ridge Road, Golden Township.
Monday, Sept. 24, 2018:
– 10:51 a.m., (OCSO), indecent exposure, North Hancock Street, Village of Pentwater.
– 5:40 p.m., (MSP), domestic assault, Woodrow Road near 32nd Avenue, Benona Township.
– 9:17 p.m., (MSP), a 42-year-old Muskegon man was transported from the Muskegon County Jail to the Oceana County Jail after being arrested on two warrants.
