Upcoming Hart library events.

The following are upcoming events at the Hart Area Public Library:

Monday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Family Story Hour – PYRATES! The Lakeshore Pyrate Heads return for this storytelling event that is appropriate for all ages.

Thursday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
Michael Deeb – A presentation by the author about his research and writings regarding the American Civil War.

Monday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. 7 p.m.
HAPL’s Fall Open House – refreshments and information regarding Smart 911.

Thursday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m.
Hart Literary Guild Book Group meets in the library conference room.

Library LEGOs — Every first Thursday at 7 p.m. and third Saturday at 11 a.m.

Oceana Frankenreads: The Oceana County public libraries encourage everyone to participate in a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein.”
Read the book in September and participate in activities in October. For more information, visit your local library.
