HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– Eric Scott Loudermilk, 34, of 4460 W. Lever Rd., Hart, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 10 to disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail; $1,525 in restitution; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Katie Amber Keller, 32, of 5621 S. 56th Ave., New Era, was found guilty Sept. 10 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Joshua Gutierrez, 19, of 2880 W. Polk Rd., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 10 of malicious destruction of a building less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; $272 in restitution; and $500 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.
– Steven DeWayne Riddle, 32, of 1461 Joslyn Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Sept. 10 of disorderly person – drunk and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; 90 days discretionary jail; and $150 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.
– Jose Luis Garza, 31, of 5391 Brunswick, Holton, was found guilty Sept. 10 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; one year discretionary jail; and $100 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Angela Rae Singer, 36, of 7857 100th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty July 23 of controlled substance – non-pharmacist preparing and was sentenced Sept. 10 to six months probation; 90 days discretionary jail; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to counseling, testing and searches; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; and $625 in fines and costs.
– Miguel Lopez-Ramirez, 28, of 4964 S. Stiles Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 7 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 25, of 13 N. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 4 of trespassing and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year and $325 in fines and costs.
– Daniel James Lorenz, 34, of 874 W. Wilke Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty July 16 of operating while impaired and was sentenced Sept. 10 to nine days in jail; six months probation; one year discretionary jail; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to counseling, testing and searches; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; and $1,780 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Mandy Marie Achterhof, 21, of 3406 N. 176th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Sept. 5 of furnishing tobacco to minors and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $225 in fines and costs.
– John Henry Smith III, 24, of 1118 Parmington Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 5 of a noise ordinance violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $325 in fines and costs.
– Lavern Anthony Rogers, 52, of 73 E. 6th St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 5 of possession of open intoxicants and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Steve Olvera, 19, of 98 Sessions Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 5 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $215 in fines and costs.
– Randy William Parker, 46, of 3973 Skeels Rd., Montague, was found guilty Sept. 4 of unlawful license plate and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $215 in fines and costs.
– Randy Wayne Palazzola, 32, of 64 Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Sept, 4 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $290 in fines and costs. O
Dismissals
– Luis Angel Mendez, 23, of 3559 S. 132nd Ave., Hesperia, one count of selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor was dismissed Sept. 10 on a deferred sentenced.
– Jose Luis Garza, 31, of 5391 Brunswick, Holton, one count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed Sept. 10.
– Spence Kaplan Stafford, 19, of 841 E. Main St., Flushing, one count of marijuana possession was dismissed Sept. 4.
– Manuel Vazquez-Guijarro, 31, of 615 Dryden St., Hart, one count failure to license a dog was dismissed Sept. 5.
