HART — The following were arraigned recently in 27th Circuit Court:
– Korbin Cruz Garcia, 23, of 1242 W. Hazel Rd., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced Aug. 27 to 16 months to five years in prison and $278 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from a March 17, 2016 conviction of receiving and concealing stolen property $1,000-$20,000, was revoked.
– Phillip Edward Houston, 54, of 41 Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced Aug. 27 to one year in jail with credit for 216 days served and $874 in fines and costs. Houston’s
probation was extended to April 25, 2021. Probation stems from a Feb. 2, 2016 conviction of third-offense operating while intoxicated.
– Timothy Ryan Bowman, 23, of 29 N. Apple St., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 56
days served and $258 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from an April 4, 2017 conviction of imitation manufacture/distribution of a controlled substance, was revoked. His Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYTA) status was also revoked.
– Ashley Ann Smith, 32, of 106 N. Michigan Ave., Shelby, was found guilty Aug. 27 of larceny $200-$1,000 and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $3,135 in restitution and $258 in fines and costs. “Defendant has successfully completed all the terms
and conditions of the court order under the delayed sentence, and it is recommended that she be discharged from the terms of the said order and allowed to withdraw her plea to the felony charge of larceny in building and plead to a misdemeanor of $200 or more but less than $1,000,” her court file states. “Defendant is discharged from probation.”
