HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:
– James Brian Tatro, 24, of 5315 148th Ave., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” June 25 to assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail; six months probation; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to testing, counseling and searches; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; no contact with victim; and $925 in fines and costs.
– David Allen Wellington, 24, of 314 Hart St., Hart, was found guilty July 16 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $400 in fines and costs.
– David Douglas Brimmer, 49, of 3123 S. 140th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty July 16 of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to nine days in jail; 93 days discretionary jail; six months probation; outpatient treatment; must take name off vehicle title/immobilization for 90 days; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to testing, counseling and searches; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; and $1,730 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.
– Tristan Drake Bean, 22, of 7315 104th St., Flushing, Michigan, was found guilty July 16 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $1,055 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of OWI and driving while license suspended (DWLS) were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Steven Ryan Driscoll, 31, of 168 Clayton Crt., Rockford, Michigan, was found guilty July 11 of trespassing and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs.
– Anthony Wayne Ringersma, 47, of 8946 Morning View Dr., Sparta, Michigan, was found guilty July 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. Charges of unlawful license plate use and operating without insurance were dismissed.
– Steven Edward McClellan, Jr., 32, of 4463 W. Skeels Rd., Montague, was found guilty July 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.
– Jason Steven Lingar, 23, of 7622 Mental Rd., Newport, Michigan, was found guilty of no boater’s safety certificate and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $325 in fines and costs.
– Alexis Leann Hammerle, 19, of 6035 N. 88th Ave., Hart, was found guilty of dog running at large and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $155 in fines and costs.
– Byron Andrew Davis, 47, of 3361 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty July 11 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fine and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Nathan Sean Garn, 28, of 2989 W. Groth Rd., Ludington, was found guilty July 11 of operating an ORV while license suspended and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.
– Kyle Thomas Baldwin, 51, of 2725 E. Ashby Rd., Midland, Michigan, was found guilty July 11 of improper plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $215 in fines and costs.
– William Scott Bradley, 59, of 5556 85th Ave., Evart, Michigan was found guilty July 11 operating an ORV on a public road and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $250 in fines and costs.
– Megan Elise Agustin, 29, of 219 E. Main St., Hart, was found guilty July 11 of unlawful license plate and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $215 in fines and costs.
– Sara Marie Hanson, 29, of 7321 White Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty July 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs.
– Carl Wesley Bridenstine, 18, of 61 S. Dengler Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty July 10 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs.
– Paytyn Marian Schopieray, 18, of 402 S. Stewart Ave., Fremont, was found guilty July 11 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Dismissal
– Adrian Frances-Levi Hammerle, 21, of 6035 N. 88th Ave., Hart, one count of malicious destruction of property less than $200 was dismissed July 17. “Defendant paid restitution to victim. Victim is not interested in pursuing criminal charges against the defendant at this time,” according to court records.
