GRANT TOWNSHIP — Law enforcement and firefighters were dispatched to Gundy’s Garage, at 8832 S. Oceana Drive Wednesday, June 27, at approximately 10:15 a.m. for a pipe bomb found in a vehicle.
Detectives from the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office are on scene investigating, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast. Grant Township Fire Department was also dispatched to the scene.
Mast said the pipe bomb was found inside a vehicle that had been impounded last winter.
No other information is immediately available, but more details will be provided when they are available.
