HART — A 35-year-old man, who coaches an area girls junior varsity basketball team was arrested Monday, June 25, on a five-count felony warrant for criminal sexual conduct (CSC) against two of his 13-year-old players, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The man, whose name has not yet been released because he has not yet been arraigned, is charged with first-degree CSC, second-degree CSC, two counts of accosting children for immoral purposes and child sexually-abusive activity.

The suspect was arrested following an “ongoing investigation” that began March 27, Mast said. The sheriff’s office interviewed several witnesses over the last few months.
