HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:
– Martin Charles Shalifoe II, 48, of 362 Pine St., Shelby, pleaded “no contest” April 16 to first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and was sentenced June 11 to 15-25 years in prison with credit for 175 days served in jail and $490 in fines and costs. Sex offender registration completed, and Shalifoe is subject to lifetime electronic monitoring. One count of first-degree CSC – victim under age 13 and one count of third-degree CSC – victim age 13-15 were dismissed.
– William Claude Roach II, 38, of 1751 S. 200th Ave., Hesperia, pleaded “no contest” March 21 to first degree CSC – victim under age 13 and was sentenced June 11 to five to 25 years in prison with credit for 215 days served in jail and $490 in fines and costs. Three
counts of first-degree CSC – victim under age 13 and three counts of third-degree CSC – victim age 13-15 were dismissed. Sex offender registration completed, and Roach is subject to lifetime electronic monitoring.
– Juan Camargo, 63, of 2569 N. 64th Ave., Hart, was found guilty March 19 of accosting children for immoral purposes and was sentenced June 11
to one year in jail with credit for 202 days served; five years probation; and $490 in fines and costs. Sex offender registration is complete, and Camargo must comply with all Sex Offender Registration Act (SORA) requirements.
– Michael Lynn Hampton, 68, of 2684 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty April 2 of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine
and second-offense habitual offender and was sentenced June 11 to three to 30 years in prison with credit for 137 days served in jail and $890 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of operating/maintaining a meth lab and one count of felony firearms were dismissed.
– Danny Ray Darling, 53, of 9091
Whitbeck Rd., Montague, was found guilty April 2 of two counts of uttering and publishing and was sentenced June 11 to 10 months in jail with credit for 154 days served and $490 in fines and costs.
– Alberto Tejada, 32, of 571 Spencer Rd., Mears, was found guilty April 2 of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police
and was sentenced June 11 to 10 months in jail with credit for six days served; two years probation; and $490 in fines and costs. Two counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and one misdemeanor count of domestic violence were dismissed.
– Brandon Taylor Gerth, 32, of 7442 Skeels Rd., Holton, pleaded “no contest” June 11 to embezzlement $200-$1,000 and was sentenced
to $40,649.19 restitution. Gerth was ordered to pay the restitution within two weeks. If he fails to pay the restitution within two weeks, he must serve one year in jail.
– Darius Benjamin Jones, 24, of 1961 Leahy St., Muskegon, was found guilty April 16 of controlled substance
possession less than 25 grams and was sentenced June 11 to four months in jail with credit for seven days served; 18 months probation; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $490 in fines and costs.
– Allen Michael McClellan, 27, of 227 W. Wilke Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty April 2 of attempted delivery/manufacture of marijuana and was sentenced June 11 to 30 days in jail with credit for three days served; 18 months probation; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $490 in fines and costs.
– Earnest Milton III, 36, of 447 2nd Ave., Manistee, was found guilty Feb. 5 of controlled substance possession
less than 25 grams and was sentenced June 11 to 90 days in jail with credit for 58 days served; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; two years probation; and $490 in fines and costs.
– Richard William Kuehler, 54, of 8686 E. Hogan Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty April 2 of third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was
sentenced to six months in jail with credit for 117 days served; two years probation; and $755 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State. One count of driving while license suspended was dismissed.
– Ethel Jean Dawson, 53, of 3151 Meyers. Ave., New Era, was found guilty April 16 of delivery/manufacture
of marijuana and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; one year probation; and $490 in fines and costs.
– Daniel Todd Prine, 25, of 816 W. Tyler Rd., Hart, was found guilty of probation violation and sentenced to 90 days in
jail with credit for 51 days served; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $458 in fines and costs. Probation, which stems from a Dec. 4, 2017 conviction of controlled substance possession, is revoked. Deferred status is revoked.
– Wade Jeffrey Holman was found guilty of probation violation and received an amended sentence June
11 of six months in jail with credit for 153 days served and $400 in fines and costs. Probation stems from an Oct. 17, 2016 conviction of failure to comply with sex offender registration duties.
