Opioid addiction topic of forum Thursday.
HART — Substance abuse prevention coalition, Oceana Leads, will host a community forum Thursday, June 21, from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Hart United Methodist Church.
The community forum will be an open discussion between community members and family members who are looking for resources and help in addressing the opioid epidemic. At this month’s forum, a couple of local peer recovery coaches will share their experiences about what they do and how they can help a loved one who has addiction.
A $10 gift card will be raffled off at the end of the forum.
