Artisan center hosts raffle during arts and crafts fair.
PENTWATER — The Pentwater Artisan Learning Center will host its annual fundraising raffle of fine art and handcrafted items at the Pentwater Spring Fest Arts and Crafts and Fair Saturday, June 16, and Sunday, June 17, on the Pentwater Village Green.
More than 70 unique items will be on display in the PALC tent at the craft fair. Raffle tickets are $1 each and are available at the center and at the PALC tent Saturday and Sunday.
Items include a Gene Davidson handcrafted rocking horse and Adirondack chair, a glass mosaic glazing ball, unique furniture, fused glass, jewelry, turned bowls, hand-knit designer items, unique pottery, a patchwork quilt, one-of-a-kind tables and a gardener’s potting bench. Original art work by Regina Leffers will be on sale. There is something for every age. Members of the PALC have created all of the items.
This is the only fundraiser the non-profit artisan center will hold this year. Winning tickets for half of the items will be drawn Saturday at 4 p.m., and the second drawing will be Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets holders do not have to be present to win.
Information about the artists or the artisan center is available by calling 231-869-5323 or Sue Hopp at 231-638-7125.
