HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– William Bailey Leeke, 49, of 6938 Hancock Rd., Montague, was found guilty June 11 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to nine days in jail (three weekends); six months probation; outpatient treatment; subject to testing, searches and counseling; no alcohol/drugs; no assaultive behavior; not to purchase/possess a firearm; $200 in restitution; and $1,565 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of failure to stop at a property damage accident and one count of driving while license not valid were dismissed.

– Paula Sue Forner-Lundborg, 54, of 6413 Stiles Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty June 11 of assault and battery and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of disturbing the peace was dismissed.

– Amy Marie Dodge, 30, of 1116 S. 132nd Ave., Shelby, was found guilty May 21 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced June 11 to $6 in restitution and $400 in fines and costs.

– Heather Fern Pearson, 33, of 6020 Morning Star Lane, Twin Lake, was found guilty June 5 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Nancy Lucille Perez, 44, of 2280 E. Ferry St., Shelby, was found guilty June 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs.

– Craig Christopher Curtis, 30, of 3593 N. 64th Ave., Hart, was found guilty June 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. Once count of DWLS was dismissed.

– Glenn Harvey Wiggers, 42, of 294 E. First St., Muskegon, was found guilty June 5 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $215 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed.

– James Donald Day, 27, of 984 Evanston Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty June 5 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Charges of transporting open intoxicants and preliminary breath test (PBT) refusal were dismissed.

– Justin Jerome Wolffis, 42, of 5820 Maple St., Twin Lake, was found guilty June 5 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense DWLS was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Steven Brent Stanfield, 45, of 1919 S. Getty St., Muskegon, was found guilty June 6 of DWLS and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Kevin John Carrier, 41, of 380 Brucker Rd., Fremont, was found guilty June 6 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Jose Lopez-Martinez, 26, of 6310 E. Minke Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty June 6 of dog running at large and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $155 in fines and costs.

– Eric William Tatro, 23, of 5333 S. 148th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty June 5 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. Another count of DWLS was dismissed in a separate file.

– Kyle William Cloutier, 26, of 20 E. Mechanic St., Hart, was found guilty June 5 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Jamie Lee Barnes, 34, of 702 S. Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty June 6 of failure to remove inoperable vehicle and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $325 in fines and costs.

– Evan Robert Wieczorek, 24, of 324 Torrey Pine Ct., Lake Orion, Michigan, was found guilty June 6 of operating a motorcycle/moped without insurance and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $200 in fines and costs.

– Angel Abdon Galindo-Piñon, 20, of 518 E. Johnson, Hart, was found guilty June 6 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissal

– Jennifer Ruth Humphreys, 40, of 2250 Loop Rd., Shelby, on count of truancy and was dismissed June 11. “Defendant was able to get the minor child to school on a regular and continuous basis since the last pretrial,” her court file states.
