Police busy over holiday weekend with alcohol-related arrests.

FERRY TOWNSHIP — A 28-year-old Shelby man was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) Sunday, May 27, at 12:20 a.m. on M 20 near 132nd Avenue, according to the Michigan State Police.

Friday, May 25, 2018:
– 12:50 a.m., (MSP), a 30-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for DWLS, Forrest Street near Michigan Avenue, Village of Rothbury.
– 5:29 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 44-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for felonious domestic assault, East Garfield Road, Otto Township.
– 12:50 p.m., (OCSO), a 53-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense DWLS, East Loop Road, Ferry Township.
– 4:59 p.m., (OCSO), a 54-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for DWLS and on outstanding warrants, West Silver Lake Road, Golden Township.
– 10:03 p.m., (OCSO), a 28-year-old Howard City man was arrested for operating under the influence of drugs, East Skeels Road, Otto Township.

– 3:24 a.m., (OCSO), a 19-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for OWI, and his passenger, an 18-year-old Twin Lake man, was arrested for open intoxicants, East Skeels Road, Greenwood Township.

– 4 p.m., (MSP), a 38-year-old Mears man was arrested for driving while license revoked, US 31 near Monroe Road, Weare Township.
– 4:06 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Hart man was arrested for open intoxicants, West Polk Road, Hart Township.
– 8:25 p.m., (OCSO), a 20-year-old Allendale man was arrested for marijuana possession, North 24th Avenue, Golden Township.
