HART — The following were recently sentenced in 78th District Court:

– Eric Robert Cudney, 25, of 6552 Water Rd., New Era, was found guilty May 7 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and a $75 fine.

– Franklin James Welch, 33, of 2669 Webster Rd., Montague, was found guilty May 7 of marijuana possession and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Stuart Victor Medley, 52, of 3404 N. 140th Ave., Hart, was found guilty May 7 of disorderly conduct – drunk and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs.

– Patrick Michael Buchanan, 45, of 2552 S. 192nd Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty April 23 of malicious destruction of property $200-$1,000 was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $1,750 in restitution; and $150 in fines and costs.

– Paul Brandon-Scott Amos, 34, of 425 Tyler Rd., Hart, was found guilty May 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

– Holly Marie Revilla, 34, of 3610 N. Karen St., Hart, was found guilty May 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Elgan Robert Clay, 55, of 217 Roberta Jayne Dr., Lowell, was found guilty May 2 of improper plates was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $215 in fines and costs.

– Joseph Mahlon Ripley, 62, of 6288 Iroquois Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty May 2 of fishing with more than two lines in two separate files was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $180 in fines and costs in each file.

– Nathan Roland Butcher, 26, of 5807 S. 48th Ave., New Era, was found guilty May 2 of failure to report an accident was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $325 in fines and costs.

– Dakota Felix Weglarz, 29, of 2409 Beech St., Twin Lake, was found guilty May 2 of transporting open intoxicants was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Christian Martinez, 31, of 149 E. Lathrop St., Walkerville, was found guilty May 4 of driving while license not valid and improper plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $300 in fines and costs. First conviction reportable to SOS.

– Alicia Marie Lombardi, 30, of 4520 Weber Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty May 1 of improper plates and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $215 in fines and costs.

– Michael John Modrow, 23, of 7499 S. Forest Glen Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty May 1 of open dumping/burning and was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs.

– David Russell Monroe, 58, of 3404 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty May 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs.

– James Jessie Pennell, 23, of 677 Chandler St., Muskegon, was found guilty May 1 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail over the next year and $290 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS and operating without insurance were dismissed.
